The second day in Kawete included church service led by Bishop Bameka (Lutheran Church of Uganda) and Pastor Meggers from Concordia, Kirkwood. We sang and praised God and were "encouraged" by Pastors Meggers' sermon. Glory be to God - 7 children and 1 adult were Baptized!!!! What a blessing to witness this Sacrament!
Following church, the Primary 7 graduates were gifted Bibles and goats (to assist with Secondary school fees). What a celebration - 41 students received graduation gifts! To celebrate, we had a feast of rice and beef.
